Bow Bells - The Bells Of St Mary Le Bow Church

It consists of 2 recordings of the very famous bells from the church of St Mary Le Bow, London, or more commonly known as, Bow Bells.

These bells have featured in many stories over the years, from Charles Dickens’, Christmas Carol to the story of Dick Whittington.

These recordings are of a bell ringing session, recorded from the belfry of the church.

The ringing pattern for both recordings is known as, Stedman Caters,

The first recording is approx 11 minutes long, the second, approx 16 minutes long.
