Whether you want to record yourself singing to a backing track, record some backing vocals for a track for a show, make a voice over or voice reel, maybe you want to record yourself singing while playing guitar etc, then, The Den is the place for you.
Wills has over 25 years of experience of studio and live sound engineering and recording. He has sound designed theatre shows all over the world and has engineered / produced many commercially available recordings (see full biog for details).
Whatever your recording needs, if we can fit you in our professionally acoustically treated vocal booth, then come and do some recording with us.
Only highest quality microphones and recording facilities used.
PRICES
Package 1: £25
1 or 2 songs to backing tracks - 1 hour session, based on 30 mins recording time and 30 mins editing time. Full mixing and mastering of the track / tracks and the final tracks emailed to you in any format you wish (WAV, MP3 etc). Note that you will not be required to attend the mixing / mastering session. This is on the condition that you supply your own backing track / tracks. If you want us to source the backing tracks, then the cost of the tracks will be added. If you want to record additional backing vocals / harmonies to the track, it is an additional £5 per song.
Package 2: £40
3 - 5 songs to backing tracks - 1 hour 45 min session, based on 60 mins recording time and 45 mins editing time. Full mixing and mastering of the track / tracks and the final tracks emailed to you in any format you wish (WAV, MP3 etc). Note that you will not be required to attend the mixing / mastering session. This is on the condition that you supply your own backing track / tracks. If you want us to source the backing tracks, then the cost of the tracks will be added. If you want to record additional backing vocals / harmonies to the track, it is an additional £5 per song.
Package 3: £25
Voice Reels / Voice Overs - This is based on 30 minutes recording time. The additional editing / mixing time is included in the price. Note that you will not be required to attend the editing / mixing session. The audio files will be emailed to you in any format you wish (WAV,
MP3 etc).
Package 4: £20 (* Post COVID rules on social distancing)
Vocal Cheats - If you want a number of voices for pre recorded backing vocals for a song that you maybe using in a dance or variety show, we can record up to 3 people at a time in our vocal booth. These same 3 people can be overdubbed to sound like more than 3 people, or you can use your time to have as many people as you want during the time, as long as there are only 3 people at any one time in the vocal booth.
Any Other Recording: £25 p/h
For any other types of recording, vocal / guitar etc, this is priced at £25 per hour. Please note that this doesn't include mixing time, although you can choose to split it 30 mins recording, 30 mins mixing or any combination within the hour, or multiple hours session.
Extras
If you would like any of the recordings on a CD with a photo and / or text printed on the body of the CD, it is an additional £5 (you will get 2 copies of the CD and a clear envelope). You will need to supply us any photos and tell us what text you require.
