Formed a company with a friend called, Merlin Music, specialising in recording packages for male voice choirs throughout Wales. Recorded around half a dozen albums with various different groups.

 

Co founder of Spank Records, a small independent record label. Originally set up to help out a friend's band, The Relatives, but ending up releasing a number of albums with various artists over a few years.

 

Engineered at Castle Hill Studios, Ewloe for a little while and later on went to co - run it for a while. Initially as an assistant engineer to OMD drummer, Mal Holmes, before going on to record many signed and non signed bands. Highlights include pre tour rehearsals with The Super Furry Animals.

 

Hooked up with Tyla, the vocalist of one of my favourite bands, The Dogs D'Amour. Since 1996, I have engineered / co produced his, 'Nocturnal Nomad' album, mixed and mastered The Dogs D'Amour, Unleashed live album and DVD, released his album, 'Double T' on our record label, Spank Records, mastered 15 of his solo / band albums, compiled and authored 8 of his DVD releases. Most recently I edited the video and compiled / authored The Dogs D'Amour concert DVD, ...From Here Is An Eternity.

 

Post production work with American guitarist, Alex Kane for the second album, Made In The USA, with his band, Antiproduct.

 

Recording / mastering engineer for 2 cast recordings from Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Brassed Off and Music From The Alexander Cordell Trilogy by Dyfan Jones.

 

Additional recordings for the track, 'A Cherry Orchard' on Colin Towns' Mask Orchestra's recent release, 'Drama' and also, on Fair Is Foul on Colin Towns' / Blue Touch Paper's last release, 'Drawing Breath'.
